ELENI KAVVADA
Eleni Kavvada is the founder of the Athens based haute couture brand 240791. She studied Fashion design and pattern making in Polimoda, Florence, where she also interned for the house of Salvatore Ferragamo. She worked for six years as first assistant in the greek brand Yiorgos Eleftheriades and around 2021 she launched her own brand. The label is known for its unconventional shapes and volumes and an avant garde approach that has caught the eye of the fashion community world wide. 240791 has shown limited and exclusive collections during Paris and Milan fashion weeks and as of recently, is being represented by the Residency Experience agency in Los Angeles, spreading the brand's wings in the Usa. Every piece the brand does is one off and is not being produced again, an element that emphasizes the designer's approach on slow, focused and intentional fashion design.
