Funmi Fetto is British Vogue’s Beauty and Wellness Director. A former Style Editor at the title, her career spans senior roles at Vogue, Tatler, Glamour, Observer and Dua Lipa’s editorial platform Service95, where she was theFounding Global Editorial Director. At British Vogue, Funmi continues to write across art, books and film as well as large cover stories.
She is also the bestselling author of Palette: The Beauty Bible for Women of Colour, and her latest book, Hail Mary - a critically praised short story collection - was shortlisted for the prestigious V.S. Pritchett Prize and Jhalak Prize for fiction. She created and hosted the acclaimed podcast On Reflection Beauty, which explores beauty through a cultural and sociopolitical lens and as a strategist and consultant, Funmi has collaborated with some of the world’s most iconic luxury beauty brands.
An associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins, - she teaches fashion journalism - Funmi has appeared across television, radio, and live events as a commentator, interviewer, and panelist - bringing her sharp perspective to conversations at the nexus of beauty, culture, race, identity, and the arts.
